Objective: To project manage the development, marketing and launch of a new website resource for professional careers www.TotalProfessions.com
Solution: To act as overall project manager for six months to:
- Define the objectives, scope and technical requirements of the website and put the brief out to tender
- Work with the chosen developer to agree the website specification, including five ‘entry-points’ for the five different target audiences, each one reaching a microsite with diverse content
- Develop the creative brief and ensure the website design met the objectives and was appealing to the target audiences
- Ensure the directory element of the website, showcasing professional bodies, was easy to use and engaging with site users
- Develop a critical path, run regular project review meetings and keep all parties up-to-date on progress
- Create marketing materials for promoting the site to professional bodies and supporting the sales team as required
